It has been nearly a week since the library staff here on campus locked the library doors and went on strike. I do not know what exactly they are displeased about but this is very inconvenient for most students as we are in the middle of end-of-semester exams. So why now? Why can they not wait for the exams to end and then go on strike? All lecture halls are locked because of the exams and now the libraries are locked yet we are expected to learn somehow and pass the exams.
I am lucky… I can always come to the library at AITI or learn at home if power is on. But others who are not so lucky are learning under trees, on corridors, out in the open space… wherever they can place a chair. I hope the university authorities resolve the issue real quick.
Cheers,

Ah! Why are these people going on strike? What? Their salaries are too low? They are hungry? With all the books they have to eat..

Perhaps their thinking of shit-bombing the reading rooms

Well, if they do, they’ve got enough books around so wiping themselves afterwards shouldn’t be a problem.
